Elpey Japan doesn’t manufacture textiles—we connect brands with the mills and makers who do. Our mission is to lead the industry toward lower-impact materials and processes by prioritizing partners that follow verified sustainable practices, from water-saving dyeing and finishing to efficient weaving and closed-loop recycling. We’re committed to validating claims through recognized third-party certification. By prioritising supply-chain transparency and constantly striving to improve our supply network, we help customers access the quality they need without compromising on our duty to the planet.
Sustainably Sourced Triacetate Fabrics
We source our triacetate fabrics from responsible producers and verify practices through independent standards. Our principal triacetate partner holds a CanopyStyle Green Shirt rating (level 26) for protecting ancient and endangered forests and strengthening supply-chain transparency. They’re also FSC® certified, bluesign® approved, and certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 for product safety. Together, these frameworks provide clearer insight into origin, chemical management, worker safety, and resource efficiency, and help us compare options across our network. Not every order carries every label, but we’re expanding certified choices and documenting claims. Certification numbers and product-level details are available on request for specific products.
